Description

The ISTQB® Foundation Level Agile Tester (CTFL-AT) certification provides the key testing skills necessary to successfully contribute to an Agile project. CTFL-AT covers agile testing in alignment with the principles of agile software development as outlined in the Agile Manifesto.

A tester on an Agile project will work differently than one working on a traditional project. Testers must understand the values and principles that underpin Agile projects, and how testers are an integral part of a whole-team approach together with developers and business representatives.

What You Will Learn

The CTFL-AT syllabus covers Agile testing topics such as:

Chapter 1- Agile Software Development

Chapter 2- Fundamental Agile Testing Principles, Practices, and Processes

Chapter 3- Differences between testing in traditional and Agile approaches

Chapter 4- Role and skills of a tester in an Agile team

Chapter 5- Agile testing methods, techniques, and tools

Chapter 6- Assessing quality risk and estimating test effort

Certification & Exam

This training prepares you for the ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level Agile Tester (CTFL-AT) exam. To take this exam, you already need the ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certificate.

The exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions, lasts 60 minutes, and is passed with a score of 26 points or more. Successful completion demonstrates the following knowledge:

  • Fundamentals of agile software development and its values

  • Differences between traditional and agile testing

  • Methods for risk assessment and effort estimation

  • Specific tasks of testers in agile teams

What You Will Achieve

After successfully completing the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level Agile Tester (CTFL-AT) course, you will apply your acquired knowledge directly in agile projects. You will be able to perform the following tasks independently:
