The HERMES Advanced certificate shows that you can apply the method in real project situations. The exam tests both your theoretical understanding and your ability to analyse scenarios, choose the right modules and organise a project according to HERMES. It consists of two parts, each 60 minutes. After passing, you receive the HERMES Advanced certificate, which is valid for five years.

What You Will Learn
This training deepens your understanding of the HERMES method and shows you how to apply it confidently in complex, real-world projects. You work through advanced scenarios, modules and governance topics, and you practice analysing and structuring projects using the full HERMES toolbox. With case studies and targeted exam preparation, you build the practical skills needed for Advanced certification.

Part 2- Phase Model in Depth, Milestones and Governance

Part 4- Advanced Use of Modules, Tasks and Results

Certification & Exam
After you complete the HERMES Advanced training (or equivalent self-study), you register for the certification exam administered by TÜV SÜD Examination Institute.
The exam consists of two parts. Part 1 is a multiple-choice section with 30 questions. Part 2 presents 15 practical-situation questions, also multiple choice.
For passing, you must score at least 60% on each part of the exam.
If you pass, you receive a personal HERMES Advanced certificate issued by TÜV SÜD. Certificates issued after 01.01.2020 are valid for 5 years.
