What You Will Learn

The syllabus is based on iSAQB Module: DDD Version 2023.1, which consists of six parts. A DDD training course should last at least 3 days.

Part 1-Domain, model, and ubiquitous language

Part 2-Knowledge Crunching: The path to the model

Part 3-From the model to implementation

Part 4-The model in the application architecture

Part 5-Strategic Design 1: Cutting and distinguishing models from one another

Part 6-Strategic Design 2: Context Mapping

Part 7-Optional: Related Topics

Certification & Exam

On successful completion of the training you earn 20 credit points in the Methodological competence area and 10 credit points in the Communicative competence area toward the CPSA-A certification.

To become eligible for the full CPSA-A certificate you must:

  • Already hold the CPSA-F (Foundation Level) certificate.

  • Have at least three years of full-time professional experience in IT, including involvement in the design and development of at least two different IT systems.

  • Accumulate a total of at least 70 credit points, covering all three competence areas (Technical, Methodological, Communicative) with a minimum of 10 points in each.

After meeting those prerequisites and accumulating sufficient points (including from the DDD module), you register for the CPSA-A final certification examination (assignment + oral exam) conducted by independent examiners appointed by iSAQB.

Once you pass the exam, you receive the CPSA-A certificate, confirming your advanced competence in software architecture.

What You Will Achieve

  • You will learn to develop a deep understanding of the business language

  • You will be able to develop a common language with the business after the training.

  • Using proven, as well as recurring patterns

  • Maintaining a direct exchange of experiences with the other traffic participants

  • Up-to-date course materials and exam preparation
