Certification & Exam
After you complete an accredited CT-STE training, you prepare for the official exam as defined by the International Software Testing Qualifications Board syllabus version 1.0 (or later).
To become eligible for the full CT-STE certification you must:
Already hold a valid CTFL (Foundation Level) certificate.
Have sufficient practical experience in testing, software development or security testing contexts.
Pass the CT-STE exam, which typically consists of 40 multiple-choice questions in 75 minutes in many jurisdictions, with a minimum passing score of 65%.
Once you meet those prerequisites and pass the exam, you receive the CT-STE certificate, confirming your advanced competence in security test engineering.
