The Test Automation Strategy syllabus addresses test automation needs beyond those that are technical tool implementation and integration challenges. A strategic view of test automation provides a vision of implementation across projects within an organization in a systematic and consistent manner that ultimately can demonstrate value to the organization.

Certification & Exam
This training prepares you for the ISTQB® certification Certified Tester Test Automation Strategy Specialist (CT-TAS). The certification is aimed at people who plan, evaluate, or organizationally implement test automation, for example testers, test automation engineers, test managers, test architects, software developers, and quality managers.
The prerequisite for certification is a valid ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certificate, version 4.0 or an earlier version, as well as sufficient practical experience. The exact experience criteria are determined by your responsible ISTQB® Member Board or exam provider. The CT-TAS exam consists of 40 questions, lasts 60 minutes, and is passed with 32 out of 49 points.
