What You Will Learn
This syllabus covers the learning objectives set by scaled Agile INC, the certifying organization, to be covered in a SAFe® training course. This includes the latest version of SAFe® 5.1. and this syllabus consists of seven following parts.
Part 1- Exploring the Scrum Master role in SAFe companies
Part 2- Application of the SAFe principles: The Scrum Master's perspective
Part 3- Research into Agile and Scrum anti-patterns
Part 4- Ease of program execution
Part 5- Flow improvement with Kanban and XP
Part 6- Building high-performing teams
Part 7- Improving program performance through Inspect & Adapt
Certification & Exam
To qualify you must complete the SAFe Advanced Scrum Master training.
After training you are eligible for the ASM certification exam.
The exam consists of 60 questions (multiple-choice / multiple-response).
You have 120 minutes to complete the exam.
To pass the exam you need at least 44 correct answers out of 60, which is a 73% passing score.
On success you receive: the ASM certificate (PDF), a digital badge, and a one-year membership in the SAFe online community/platform.
