In the SAFe® 6.0 Lean Portfolio Management Certification (LPM), you will learn to connect strategy and execution in the Scaled Agile Framework®. The training covers Lean Budgeting, Portfolio Kanban, Portfolio Vision, Value Streams, prioritization, and Lean Governance. Trainer input is combined with exercises, case studies, and discussions so you can put the methods into practice. After completion, you can structure portfolio decisions, align investments with strategic goals, and prepare specifically for the SAFe® LPM certification.
What You Will Learn
This syllabus covers the learning objectives set by scaled Agile INC, the certifying organization, to be covered in a SAFe® training course. This includes the latest version of SAFe® 6.0 and this syllabus consists of six following parts.
Part 1- Introduction of Lean Portfolio Management (LPM)
Part 2- Realizing the portfolio vision through Epics
Part 3- Defining portfolio strategy and vision
Part 4- Establish investment financing
Part 5- Application of Agile Portfolio Operations
Part 6- Lean Governance
Certification & Exam
This course prepares you for the SAFe® 6.0 Lean Portfolio Manager, LPM certification from Scaled Agile. After completing the Lean Portfolio Management training, you will get access to the learning plan and can take the online exam through SAFe Studio. The exam is web-based, closed-book, and completed without outside help. It includes 45 single-select multiple-choice questions, lasts 90 minutes, and requires 77 percent to pass. The first exam attempt is included in the course fee if you take it within 60 days of course completion. Additional attempts require a fee. After passing the exam, you can download your certificate as a PDF and, with the appropriate privacy settings, receive a digital badge. Check current details in the official Scaled Agile exam guide.
