Description

Prepare for the SAA-C03 exam through guided lectures, hands-on AWS labs, architecture diagrams, and scenario-based case studies. Participants study the AWS Well-Architected Framework, IAM, VPC networking, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Route 53, CloudFront, Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, and CloudWatch.

The course balances exam theory with design practice for secure, resilient, high-performing, and cost-optimized architectures.

After completion, learners can assess requirements, choose suitable AWS services, review existing designs, and plan next steps toward AWS certification.

What You Will Learn

Module 1: AWS Architecture Foundations

  • Review the AWS Well-Architected Framework and how it guides secure, resilient, high-performing, and cost-optimized cloud solutions.

  • Map business and technical requirements to AWS Regions, Availability Zones, and account structures.

  • Practice interpreting exam-style scenarios for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Associate certification.

Module 2: Secure Architecture Design

  • Plan access controls with AWS Identity and Access Management, IAM Identity Center, roles, policies, and multi-factor authentication.

  • Secure VPC designs using public and private subnets, route tables, security groups, network ACLs, NAT gateways, VPN, and AWS Direct Connect.

  • Apply data protection methods with AWS Key Management Service, AWS Certificate Manager, TLS, backups, replication, and lifecycle policies.

Module 3: Resilient and High-Performing Solutions

  • Compare multi-tier, microservices, serverless, and event-driven patterns using Amazon API Gateway, Amazon SQS, AWS Lambda, AWS Fargate, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, and AWS Step Functions.

  • Select compute, storage, and database options such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon EBS, Amazon EFS, Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon ElastiCache.

  • Plan availability and recovery using load balancing, Auto Scaling, Route 53, backups, read replicas, failover, RPO, and RTO.

Module 4: Cost and Exam Readiness

  • Review cost controls with AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, Spot Instances, storage tiers, and data transfer choices.

  • Use case studies, architecture diagrams, guided labs where offered, and practice questions to assess readiness for the certification exam.

Certification & Exam

This course prepares participants for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Associate certification exam. The exam is an Associate-level AWS Certification focused on designing cost and performance optimized solutions on AWS.

It includes 65 questions in multiple-choice and multiple-response formats, with a total exam time of 130 minutes. Candidates can take the exam through a Pearson VUE test center or as an online proctored exam.

After passing, participants earn an AWS Certification that is valid for 3 years. Reference: official AWS certification page.

What You Will Achieve

  • Design AWS solutions that align with the AWS Well-Architected Framework, including secure, resilient, high-performing, and cost-optimized architecture choices for the SAA-C03 exam scope.

  • Apply secure access patterns using IAM, AWS IAM Identity Center, AWS STS, service control policies, resource policies, MFA, and least privilege access across single-account and multi-account AWS environments.

  • Implement security controls for workloads, networks, and data using VPC design, public and private subnets, security groups, network ACLs, AWS WAF, AWS Shield, AWS Secrets Manager, AWS KMS, ACM, backups, and replication.

  • Design resilient architectures with loose coupling, event-driven patterns, microservices, multi-tier designs, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, Amazon EventBridge, AWS Step Functions, load balancing, failover, and disaster recovery strategies based on RPO and RTO requirements.

  • Select suitable compute, storage, database, and networking services, including Amazon EC2, AWS Lambda, AWS Fargate, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, Amazon S3, Amazon EBS, Amazon EFS, Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon VPC, Route 53, CloudFront, VPN, Direct Connect, and PrivateLink.

  • Analyze workload requirements to choose architecture patterns for elastic compute, storage performance, database access patterns, caching with Amazon ElastiCache, read replicas, data ingestion with Amazon Kinesis, data processing with Amazon EMR, and transformation with AWS Glue.

  • Evaluate cost choices across storage, compute, databases, and networking using AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, AWS Cost and Usage Report, Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, Spot Instances, storage classes, lifecycle policies, VPC endpoints, NAT gateway options, and data transfer patterns.
