What You Will Learn

This training teaches you how to secure, manage and defend cloud environments across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. You learn cloud-security principles along with hands-on skills for real-world cloud infrastructures.

Part 1- Introduction to cloud security, cloud architecture, service models and the shared-responsibility model

Part 2- Platform and infrastructure security in the cloud, including securing virtualized and multi-tenant environments

Part 3- Application security in the cloud, secure SDLC practices and protection of web, API and serverless applications

Part 4- Data security in the cloud, covering encryption, key management, secure data storage and lifecycle management

Part 5- Operational security, configuration hardening, secure deployment and ongoing cloud-service maintenance

Part 6- Cloud penetration testing and vulnerability assessment, including attack simulation techniques

Part 7- Monitoring, logging and incident response for cloud environments

Certification & Exam

After you complete the CCSE training, you can register for the CCSE certification exam. The exam checks your ability to secure cloud infrastructures, protect cloud workloads and apply security controls across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.

The exam includes multiple-choice questions and hands-on tasks that reflect real cloud-security scenarios. You must reach the required passing score to earn the certification. The exam can be taken online through remote proctoring or at an authorised testing centre.

When you pass the exam, you receive the CCSE certificate, confirming your practical skills in cloud security engineering, cloud threat detection and secure cloud architecture.
