ITIL Certification Path

ITIL is the global standard for modern IT service management. The certification path helps you understand how to design, deliver and improve IT services in a structured and effective way.

1. ITIL 4 Foundation

This is where everyone starts.
You learn the key concepts of IT service management, the service value system, essential practices and how IT creates value for the business.
After your preparation, you take the Foundation exam. When you pass, you receive the ITIL 4 Foundation certificate, which opens the door to all advanced ITIL modules.

2. ITIL 4 Professional Streams

With the Foundation certificate, you can choose the direction that fits your career:

  • Managing Professional (MP)
    For people who run IT services, lead teams and work hands-on with service operations and delivery.

  • Strategic Leader (SL)
    For professionals responsible for aligning IT with business goals, leading digital strategy and driving transformation.

  • Practice Manager (PM)
    For those who want to specialise in specific ITSM practices such as incident management, change enablement, service design or asset management.

Each stream includes a set of modules and ends with its own certification.

3. ITIL Master

This is the highest level in the ITIL programme.
To reach ITIL Master, you complete the required modules from the professional streams and demonstrate that you can apply ITIL principles across real organisational situations.
It is aimed at senior IT leaders and experts.
