Certification

You attend an accredited EAM training course. That course gives you 30 credit points in the Methodical competence area toward your CPSA-A certificate.

To become eligible for the full CPSA-A certificate you must:

  • Hold the CPSA-F (Foundation Level) certificate.

  • Have at least three years of full-time professional experience in the IT sector, including participation in the design and development of at least two different IT systems.

  • Collect a total of at least 70 credit points across the three competence areas (Technical, Methodical, Communicative), with at least 10 points in each area.

After you meet those prerequisites and accumulate the required credit points (including the EAM module’s 30 methodical points), you register for the CPSA-A final certification exam (assignment plus oral exam by iSAQB-appointed examiners).

Once you pass the exam, you receive your CPSA-A certificate, confirming your advanced competence in software architecture.

Outcome

Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) ensures transparency in the connections between business & IT and IT costs, benefits & risks. Architects and managers can make sustainable decisions and align IT with the corporate strategy with this information.

This training has a workshop character and offers the opportunity for an exchange between the participants and enables discussions about the different situations of the participants.
