What You Will Learn
This syllabus covers the learning objectives set by Scaled Agile INC, the certifying organization, to be covered in a SAFe® training course. This includes the latest version of SAFe® 5.1. and this syllabus consists of the following nine parts.
Part 1: Introduction to Agile Architecture
Part 2: Architecture for DevOps and Release On-Demand
Part 3: Alignment of architecture with business value
Part 4: Development of solution vision, solution intent, and roadmaps
Part 5: Preparing for architecture for PI Planning
Part 6: Coordination of the architecture throughout the PI planning
Part 7: Continuous delivery support during PI execution
Part 8: Support for new strategic themes and value streams
Part 9: Leading as an architect during a Lean-Agile transformation
Certification & Exam
After the training, participants can take the ARCH certification exam via the SAFe Community Platform.
The exam contains 45 questions (multiple-choice or multiple-response).
To pass the exam, you must answer at least 32 out of 45 questions correctly — that equals a 71% passing score.
The exam is web-based, closed book, timed.
On successful completion, you receive:
A SAFe Architect certificate (PDF).
A digital badge to share publicly.
A one-year membership in the SAFe online community/platform, which includes access to resources, meetups and learning materials.
