Certification & Exam

The SWARC4AI training is an accredited module within the iSAQB Certified Professional for Software Architecture – Advanced Level (CPSA-A) program. By attending the course, participants receive 30 credit points that contribute to the requirements for the CPSA-A certification exam.

The credit points are distributed across the iSAQB competence areas as follows:

  • 20 points in Technical Competence

  • 10 points in Methodological Competence

  • 0 points in Communicative Competence

To qualify for the CPSA-Advanced Level certification, participants must:

  • Hold the CPSA-Foundation Level (CPSA-F) certificate

  • Have at least three years of professional experience in IT, including work on software systems

  • Collect a minimum of 70 credit points from Advanced Level training modules

  • Cover all three competence areas with at least 10 points each

After meeting these requirements, candidates complete the CPSA-A certification task, which typically involves working on a practical architecture assignment and discussing the solution with independent examiners.

Completing the SWARC4AI module therefore contributes directly to the path toward the iSAQB CPSA-A certification, while also providing an official certificate of participation for the training itself.

What You Will Achieve

After the training, you will be able to:

  • Understand and plan AI-based system architectures

  • Analyze typical requirements and risks of AI systems

  • Evaluate uncertainty, black-box behavior, and data dependencies

  • Address technical and regulatory demands, including the EU AI Act

  • Apply architectural patterns for traditional and generative AI

  • Integrate MLOps into modern system architectures

  • Design solutions for integrating AI into existing environments
