ISTQB® Certified Tester Agile Technical Tester (CT-ATT)

To become eligible for the CTAL-ATT certification you must:

• Already hold the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certificate.

• Have relevant practical experience in testing and Agile environments (the exact requirement is defined by your local ISTQB Member Board).

• Pass the CTAL-ATT exam based on syllabus version 1.1, which evaluates your technical testing skills in an Agile context.
  After you meet these prerequisites and pass the exam, you receive the CTAL-ATT certificate, confirming your advanced competence as an Agile Technical Tester.

• Apply Agile testing techniques to achieve specified test coverage targets on a software module within the course timeframe.

• Write three testable acceptance criteria for a provided user story that meet team standards for clarity and measurability during a classroom workshop.

• Build and execute an Agile test plan using exploratory and session-based testing methods within a simulated sprint cycle.

• Create and run an automated test script using industry tools to verify a core system function during a practical lab session.

• Set up a continuous integration pipeline that automatically triggers a test suite when code is updated in a repository by the end of the module.

• List and execute the technical steps to move a software build through a continuous deployment pipeline from a test environment to a staging environment.

• Explain service virtualization and identify two specific scenarios where virtualized services replace unavailable system components during a testing phase.

• Provide a factual status update during a mock daily stand-up meeting that identifies completed tasks and technical blockers to other team members.
