The syllabus consists of the following parts:

Module 1: Understand the role of cloud services in an organisation

Module 2: Define organisation’s requirements and assess readiness

Module 3: Identify types of cloud services and applicability

Module 4: Selection and procurement in the “offer” phase

Module 5: Onboarding and offboarding cloud services

Module 6: Managing use of cloud services

Module 7: Evaluating and improving a cloud strategy

Certification

  • You can take the exam after completing the training.

  • There are no additional prerequisites, but you must hold the ITIL 4 Foundation certificate, because all ITIL 4 Specialist modules require it.

  • The exam includes 40 multiple-choice questions.

  • The duration is 90 minutes.

  • You must score at least 70 percent (28 correct answers) to pass.

  • The exam is closed book.

  • The certificate is issued by PeopleCert, the official examination body.

  • This module can also count towards the ITIL 4 Managing Professional or ITIL 4 Strategic Leader paths depending on the learner’s certification plan.
